We’re proud to stage the largest tennis exhibition in Europe and 2010 will be bigger and better than ever.Nothing compares to The Liverpool International Tennis Tournament, which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2011. Top-flight ATP and WTA players who all aspire to one day become Wimbledon Champions, combined with legends of the game, all compete in a purpose built centre court stadium situated in one of the country’s most beautiful parks, Calderstones, providing a truly unique setting for Europe’s largest tennis exhibition event.

The Puente Romano Tennis Club in Marbella is host to The Marbella Masters. The tennis club is part of the prestigious Hotel Puente Romano situated in the heart of the Golden Mile. Since the clubs inauguration by legendary Swedish tennis player Bjorn Borg in 1979, who returned to the club in 2011 to take part in The Marbella Masters. The Puente Romano Tennis Club has hosted some great matches and some of the biggest stars of the tennis world have graced its courts during its 31-year history.

The Nordic Masters 2010 will see Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark compete against one another over the 3 days. World top 10 and French Open finalist Robin Soderling will travel to Oslo to take on Finish ace Jarko Nieminen, former world number eight Pim Pim Johanson & Norwegian number one Erling Tveit. We are also thrilled to welcome back tennis legends Mansour Bahrami, Ilie Nastase, Peter MacNamara and Anders Jarryd. The Nordic Masters attracts some of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark’s greatest tennis talent of the past and future. Previous competitors have included legends Mansour Bahrami, Ilie Nastase, Peter McNamara and Anders Jarryd, as well Finish ace Jarko Nieminen, former world number eight Pim Pim Johanson, Norwegian number one, Erling Tveit and WTA world number one, Caroline Wozniacki. Through The Nordic Masters we aim to raise the profile of international tennis in Norway and support the country’s national players by providing them with the opportunity to play against highly ranked international players. The current growth within youth tennis in Norway is remarkable and we hope to showcase this by making this event accessible to encourage more people to take-up tennis as a sport, whether competitively or for leisure.

Nottingham has been recognised as a key tennis city outside of London for many years and it seemed appropriate to bring tennis stars from the past and present to the City of Legends. Heroes such as Martina Hingis, Mats Wilander, Richard Krajicek, Greg Rusedski,Mansour Bahrami and Ilie Nastase wowed the crowds at the 4 day tournament in 2010, which was won by Barry Cowan who defeated Richard Krajicek in the final. Dates for the 2012 tournament will be announced in September 2011.

Manchester’s Northern Club is one of the most prestigious tennis clubs in the North West and we are delighted that this beautiful and picturesque club plays host to The Manchester Masters. Manchester is one of the country’s leading sporting cities, so it was only natural that we hosted a tennis event in the city during the first weekend of Wimbledon, just as tennis fever is at its height. In September 2011 Northern Vision will announce exciting plans for a tournament at The Northern Lawn Tennis Club with Manchester City Council for 2012.
